So with trying to keep in the spirit of realism, the "I search you" rule is a little annoying. It kind of makes it impossible to hid things on your body. Is there a way to "get around" this. Or is this one of those "because it's a game" rules that we're kind of stuck with like chained weapons and the slew of other fighting styles the world of Tyrra will never know?

I often use 'describe your search' when dealing with someone searching me. Particularly if I am NPCing an intelligent creature who would carry a number of hiding places for my meager wealth. I think it really goes with the character you are playing - place your in game items appropriately upon your person, and attach tags to physical reps. There's little more frustrating to me as a searcher finding a stack of weapons/armor/shields/ whatnot in a fine stack in a small pouch, when the searchee has only one rep for each upon their person.
