Hello all,
I am new to larping but an advide table top gamer. Any who were at the July event will now know me as Yarn- the dwarf with the natural beard and dwarven war mug.
I am an electrical technician and an (almost) jack-of-nearly-all-trades. I have probably over 20 hobbys, but never enough time to finish any of them.
My total LARPing experience now sits at 2 events, but I have seen a TON of youtube videos about it. I enjoy making my own props and am willing to offer to make props/phys-reps for others. Just know that I am a procrastinator and will surely get to that next project... someday... I hope... if time allows... (for any that saw the turtle shell shield the Grogg got, that's the level of my ability)
I have a loving wife and young daugter and I'm hope bring them both to a game soon. I really want these games to be something my whole family can enjoy.
I discovered that the fun of LARPing for me is to be part of the community. I don't see myself as a strong front-line adventurer and will be leaning more and more towards a non-combative role. I will not give up combat completly (I want to be able to help defend the town when the need arises) but expect to see me taking on more of a PC merchanting role if allowed by plot.
