To the People of Sanctuary,
A dark cloud had settled over my mind, born from fear and desperation as dark thoughts often are. My actions were poisoning the totem that has watched over me all my days and my people longer. I was on the verge of making an even greater mistake.
Lost in darkness, I was led back to the light in time. You cannot imagine how hard it was to see the defenders of Sanctuary turn their back on me as a result of the decisions that I was making. But even this was not enough to bring me clarity.
It was the simple words and wisdom of Master Neville that returned me to my senses. His steady counsel helped me to see that the truth had been hidden from me for too long, and that those I trusted were abusing that trust and using me and my people for their own purposes.
Since I turned away from Tarnian and from the lies that he was telling me, I can feel a return of the favor of the Wolf. I do not know if this favor will be enough to save my people. Already, many of my people have left to join Tarnian and his company, which they still believe is our only hope of survival. But they will hunt without the Wolf now and be brotherless to us. The Wolf will continue to fight for our lives.

I dont know who this Jinn guy is, but he does not speak for me. I have never met him and do not approve of his presumptuous nature....unless maybe he brings strawberry pies with him...then it might be ok for him to presume that he speaks for me...about some things.

The following is a story taken from " Voices from the empire" from Sanctuary dated December 595.
The barbarian appointed to watch over these lands and safeguard against necromancy has been killed. In the past , it was learned the Assitanius's escape and the growing strength of necromancy in the area was slowly killing him. The appearance of the Graveyard of the Four Winds was to much for him.
He came to Sanctuary originally to attack a necromancer who was at the edge of town creating wraiths. Gallen Tallblade and Mavis the Dwarf accompanied him and fought both undead and the necromancer successfully. Then, Fo'Karn went to the graveyard. Every time an undead ripped from the ground, the tree man grew weaker, until in the end he passed on one of his branches and strode into the woods.
The new possessor of the branch, a barbarian named Ginn has now come to appear as Fo'Karn though not as powerful yet. Perhaps in time he can grow to be our lands new defender.
I was at the gathering when the branch was passed and i can say from experience the Ginn the heir of Fo'karn is a honorable barbarian and should be given the support he needs.

What many dont realize is that getting what i have gotten is giving up eveything you ever wanted or desired. a wife or a life without fighting neco. we must be patient with them. they dont know what we all went thru or fought

Perhaps I be remembering it all wrong like. I was quite new to these lands but a year ago. But wasn't the Fo'Karn defeated a year ago?
I remember the battle with the giant walking trees and my fellow friends who grew the vines from their skin that caused them to attack their brethren.
Was that not the Fo'Karn?

Jinn,
I truly do believe we need to talk. I do not know what happened years ago. But I met the most recent carrier of the Fo'Karn, and I watched him pass into death. He gifted me and a handful of my friends with aspects of himself in an attempt to make sure the Fo'Karn would continue on. The Ravager has come once, that is what Yarn speaks of. And I do believe it was not defeated for good. Any information you have on the Fo'Karn, and the blessing it has granted me would be much appreciated, and I would gladly grant what aid I could in turn.

I do not believe Sticks meant insult, he simply feels the same way I do. I have yet to meet you therefore I also do not support your statement of you speaking for those of sanctuary. This is not meant to disrespect you or your deeds. I have been in these lands for two years now and lots of things have been changed some good some not. As for the fo'karn Armond is correct he was at the end of his cycle and was.to pass to gift to one, when that one did not show the Fo'karn passed its gifts to five who were not prepared I assume in hopes that one would rise to claim all 5 in the future. Since then two have left this world for the next, one has not been seen in some time and the remaining two are learning. We have much information on the graveyard, the academy and the surrounding areas, however I do not believe it is safe to post all of that information here. If you have any questions please feel free to ask my anything you wish to know.

Culloden, Does anyone know why the Fo'karn would turn? Was there a chance to speak to the Fo'karn or was their attack unprovoked? I guess I have some catching up to do, I have been gone to long.

Borak,
I believe things were worded incorrectly. The Fo'Karn did not turn on anyone, when I spoke with him in his final moments, he was running out of strength. His last effort was to instrill his blessings into myself and four others. Since then, a being named the Ravager has attacked. He takes the form of a monstrous tree and attacked Sanctuary and those who live there today.

Wait...so let me get this straight. So plant thing, gave you a piece of itself over a DECADE ago because of something you did. You then wander about doing whatever it is you do. We come along and settle these lands, and for the past two years have been rebuilding the town, battling its enemies, defending it from attack, cleansing its lands, working on its rightful succession, making deals and setting up trade routes for the good of the town, and you think that because some plant guy gave you some wood that you can waltz in and declare yourself the "speaker" for this town.
Sorry buddy, some lands may feel that rulership being granted by some viney prickerbush is ok but here in sanctuary we dont hold to that "style" of leadership.
Prove yourself, then speak. Dont just speak.

yep stick, I got that over a decade ago. and i have been doing all the same thru out the world. so what you have done in 2 yrs i have been doing it ALONE for over 10.
But to what i truly wanted was to help. Thats all. Its good to see that the attitude of santuray hast changed. i dont want anything. i just wanted this town that i fought for and died for has a chance for peace with the barbarians. The less all fight eachother the more there is to fight the true enemy of all of us. If i caused anyone any problems im am sorry but intentions were ment as help. thats all, nothing more. I wont do anything of the same again. i guess i should have learnd. Jinn

I like people who want to help out. I dont like people who claim to speak for me when they dont.
Maybe I misunderstood you. Maybe you meant that you speak for most of the bear tribe who travel to Sanctuary and not that you speak for most of the people who live in Sanctuary. If that is the case, and I misunderstood you then I offer you my most sincere apology and I will buy you a drink the next time your in town.
