Lords and Ladies! As many know, there are big changes going on with NERO Detroit. And while this means a change in plot, it also means a change in communication. We're putting together the best game we can for all of you. And I most definitely feel that this is an opportunity for all of us to bring a great and colorful game to life in the biggest ways possible. And on to what the title is actually talking about. Character backgrounds and histories! They can make a difference folks! And in a very big way! Get them to us, and I promise, we'll do SOMETHING with them. We want each adventure to resonate with you both as a player and as a character, and the more we know about the character and the player the more we can do for each of you. So I ask this of our players. Please send us a backstory. It doesn't need to be much. Just a paragraph or two. Or maybe a page. Or an entire journal if you'd like to write it. Trust me... we'll read it. And while you're sending us that. Tell us what you want most in a game. We're writing piles of interesting stories and plot lines, but in the end the game isn't about us, it's about all of you. It's about how much fun you all have, and how we can make your NERO experience as great as possible. So e-mail us at nerodetroit@gmail.com and tell us what kind of game you want and who your character is. Or if you'd prefer, post here. Well, at least what you want in a game. Your story can be our secret. Sincerely, Bud Lewis

I cant stress how important this is. It will help you really feel in touch and involved not only at NERO Detroit, but also in the World of NERO itself. Please believe you are a citizen of Tyrra, what you do impacts the world around you. You are just as important to the game as any important NPC, if not more! Please, we want to know more about you so we can tailor a game designed to entertain and engrosse.

BOOKS! More phys-rep'ed books in a library that appears no matter what location the campsite is being used for. They are seriously wonderful things.
