When I woke up and opened my eyes this morning, the first thought that crossed my mind was "That was awesome." We had a diverse group of PCs represented at yesterday's meeting, and I found it to be a blast to talk through all the big questions (and not so big questions) with the group at large. Thanks to everyone for making it out.
Major thanks to Evan to organizing a menu and for bringing the grill and half of a cow and field of corn. Thanks to everyone else who brought food too, including Jordan's bean salad, Dave and Janelle's s'mores, and, of course, the cake from K'Thess with love (OOG joke) from plot. Michael, the mead you left me was DELICIOUS. A tear fell when I took the last sip.
Bill, Jordan, and Jay, thanks for coming and doing the break out meetings. Those added a lot of flavor to the meeting at large, and helped to fill in so there was no "we need to wait until we can get an answer to this question to move on."
It goes without saying, but after nearly 12 hours of IG discussion, I am primed for the next event!! Less than five weeks to go!!

already kicked myself for not driving my own ass down. sounds like you guys may have had a bit more in ya... and I missed out on chicken.
to the hobling cooking crew- is there a way to send funds your way for the food stuffs b4 the event. I'd feel better if you received the necessary amount prior to spending it rather than hoping to be reimbursed.

I had a good time. I wish it had been made a little more public that you could do "private" meetings before the main one. Maybe I just missed it, but didnt realize the GM staff was going to be available from 1pm till whenever to handle mini-meetings.
I always enjoy cooking good food for friends and hope everyone enjoyed what I was able to prepare and provide. I am kicking myself for forgetting to try one of the asiago chicken sausages and I actually came home with all of the BBQ Chicken that I brought to grill up after the steak...guess I know what I am having for dinner this week.
I dont really have anyway to get funds in advance other then USPS. I suppose if enough people thought it would be helpful I could try and setup my paypal account to get payments, but I dont know what all is involved in that.
